“That we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” – Romans 1:12

The Women’s Ministry at Hephzibah nurtures the women of our church and our community as they come to faith, Christian maturity and service through interaction with God, His Word and one another. Bible studies, programs, and events will inspire your heart, enrich your life and strengthen your relationships—especially your relationship with the Lord.

Women’s Weekend

This year’s Women’s Weekend will be September 15-16. The cost is $60.00 which includes a t-shirt, dinner on Friday night, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, not to mention several surprises throughout the weekend! We are thrilled to have Earlene Livingston as our speaker, and Jordan Reese will be leading in worship. The 2017 theme is “Fixer Upper: Making Space for Breakthrough.”

Please check back often for updates on our Women’s Weekend workshops and for the online registration form!

Women’s Discipleship

We always seek to offer a study geared towards the unique calling of becoming a woman of God.  These range from personal discipleship, to parenting and finance. Classes are most often on Wednesday evenings.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at Hephziah Baptist Church is a place to find friendship, community, resources, support and spiritual enrichment for you as a woman and mother so you’re not alone. This wonderful program is designed for mothers and led by mothers to meet the distinct needs of moms with children from birth to pre-Kindergarten. This unique organization of women encourages and supports all mothers to be the best they can be! The program includes teaching by mentors and guest speakers, discussion and opportunities to develop creatively and spiritually.

We encourage, equip and develop moms as women, mothers and leaders. MOPS moms journey together, sharing real relationships that are transformative and learning leadership development skills that will enrich the lives they touch. We aim to see no mom alone because when we impact a mom, we impact children, families, and ultimately our world.
