We’re excited to announce our 2017 Women’s Weekend theme: Fixer Upper. This year, we will spend time learning that God loves our work-in-progress selves and how He can truly fix us up in His image! We’ll discover ways to make space for breakthrough so that our lives are more focused on Our Creator. Our keynote speaker will be Earlene Livingston, a Word of Life missionary, and we will also offer eight unique workshops that were designed to apply to women of all ages and stages of life. God is going to reveal Himself to us in a new, fresh way this weekend. We hope you’ll join us!

Use the button below to register online, or pick up a registration brochure in our Connector building. You may pay online via E-Giving or by check/cash. Please call the church office (919-365-7847) with any questions!

BUT GOD….How often we are busy going about ‘our days’ filling the calendar with ‘our plans’ and ‘our activities’ when suddenly, out of nowhere, our house of cards comes tumbling down. Tragedy strikes! God, in His Sovereignty, has a way of interrupting, intersecting and even invading our temporal lives with a DIVINE reality check…BUT GOD! Join me as we examine God’s Divine set backs and delays: their purpose and our response!
As followers of Christ, we want to train up the next generation to be followers as well. In this class we will cover many topics that effect moms each day. From scripture memorization to the music we listen to, plus how we Biblically discipline now to aide our children in the future.
In this workshop we will wrestle with heart issues and realize what it truly means to have Christ Centered stewardship in your home. We will also tackle some nuts and bolts of budgeting, and learn some tried and true financial tips that will equip us to put our faith into action.
We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.  We don’t light a lamp and put it under a basket.  Instead, we set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Kim, LouAnne, and Nan will share how God led them to share the Light of Jesus outside the four walls of the church and how He can lead you to do the same.
As disciples of Christ, God has called us to be good stewards of all that He gives.  When we do well with stewardship, our time, money and resources go further. Meal planning is a great way to steward your money and time well. This workshop will look briefly at what God tells us about stewardship and then give you practical tips and tricks of how to get started (and keep going!) with meal planning!
As followers of Christ, we are called to love others as we love ourselves. But, what happens when we struggle to love who we are, exactly as the mirror reflects? When we love ourselves from the inside out because we were made in God’s image, that is the source of our beauty. This workshop will define true beauty, enhancing God-given beauty, and presenting your best self.
We live in a world where everyone wants the latest model, the newest phone, the bigger house, or the roomier SUV. Our Pinterest boards are overflowing with pictures of houses that we can only dream of, yet we wonder why we don’t feel content with what we have. Together we’ll discuss our feelings about the place we spend most of our time: our home.  We will explore DIY projects that are not only affordable, but can transform our house into a home that is Pinterest worthy while keeping our eyes on Him.
Building a marriage can have its challenges. There are all kinds of blogs and books that talk about what your marriage should look like, and everyone goes into marriage with a certain set of expectations… In this workshop, we’ll talk about what GOD says our marriages should be. We’ll discuss our expectations, communication, and yes, SEX! Come join me as we talk about the complexities of our marriage commitment with the wisdom of God.
