How can a church be large and at the same time feel small? The answer is by its members being involved in a smaller group. It is when we connect with other believers that we are able to grow, both in relationships with others and also in our relationship with God.
At Hephzibah, our primary small groups are called Connect Groups. Connect Groups meet weekly and provide the opportunity for each member of your family to join other believers in fellowship, worship, discipleship, ministry, and outreach.

Jesus Christ gave us the example of serving and even told us that he did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.
The most basic definition of service is to see a need and to meet that need to the best of our abilities. As the body of Christ, we attempt to meet the needs of those inside our church as well as outside. In doing so, we serve and worship God and serve to show the love of God to others.
Relationships are built and strengthened through serving together and as Hephzibah grows and ministers, the need for willing servants is great.
The mission of our church is simple. It is what Jesus commanded when he said to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20). Through partnerships, we engage in this mission locally, nationally and globally.
We want people in every nation to know the love of God shown through His Son, Jesus Christ. We want lives that were broken by sin to be restored by His grace. And we want to see this not just in nations abroad, but in our own community. Jesus said that we are to take the good news of Jesus to our town, our nation and the nations around the world. Hephzibah is a church on mission for Jesus Christ!
