Get involved with Local Missions
Opportunities for local missions are many and as varied as the needs within our community. In Wendell Middle School, we provide support to the teachers and staff in conjunction with our WMU group. This includes regularly providing lunch, encouragement and even goodie bags. Our church regularly ministers to the local EMS workers, firefighters and police officers as well. We take food gifts off and notes of thanks and encouragement for our local community workers. HBC also participates in our town’s local Harvest Festival and Wendell Wonderland events. We have the opportunity to serve our community with free face-painting, balloon animals, popcorn and hot chocolate as well as sharing the gospel with those we meet. Finally, we host an annual BBQ Festival each spring for our community where we provide a full day of fun, family activities, great food and share the love of Christ with all who attend!
