Time and time again, the Bible* points us to the idea of serving God and others.
It’s important to note that serving God and others is not the foundation of our faith, but the fruit of our faith. Good deeds are not what save any man or woman, but they are the result of an overflow of love, mercy, and grace given to us by God that we can extend to others and offer back to Him.

There are many ways to serve God and others at HBC.
- Stephen Ministry care and counseling
- Women’s Ministry care and counseling
- Teaching an adult, student, or children’s Connect Group or mid-week Bible study
- Leading a D-Group (Discipleship Groups)
- Cooking and serving food
- Playing instruments or singing
- Greeting on the NEXTSteps team
- …and so much more!
